Inkjet Cartridges

Refilled

Refilling a inkjet cartridge without testing the electronic devices and using the wrong equipment will result in substandard prints, reduced volumes, leakage of cartridge resulting in printer damage.  Hence, a service we would prefer not to provide and carries no warrantee or guarantee.

Remanufactured

All cartridges are tested with electronic equipment that identifies any problems with the electonics in the cartridge prior to the process of remanufacturing.  The cartridge is disassembled and the interior restructured so as to provide the consumer with higher yields at the same time replacing worn out items before re-assembling.  Product is electronicly tested to ensure that the cartridge meets with post production quality controlles.

Toners

All our laser toners are pre-tested utilising a universal cartridge anilizer LT-777 wich detects warn out drums, blades, PCR's and the like, there by ensuring that we replace all working parts that are damaged in the remanufacuring process.
The cartridge is also tested utilising the same technology and not printers, as printers were not designed as testing equipment, there by providing the client with a product that is not only a lot cheaper, but in most cases produces a much better quality prints with higher yields.

Like inkjets we would prefer not to just refill a toner cartridge because we do not know the state of the cartridge i.e quality of drum, casing, fuse etc, and hence we do not offer a gaurantee. All too often the consumer will blame us for poor quality!

No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prohibits the manufacturer of the printer you are using from voiding the warranty because you use a refilled or remanufactured cartridge. Printer manufacturers will almost always advise you against refilling. The simple reason for this is that manufacturers would like you to buy their expensive replacement cartridges and accessories. Even with the protection of this law, you should also feel confident that cartridges sold, remanufactured by Cartridgeworx will meet or exceed your expectations. Our own warranty also extends to your printer on any valid claim!

In many cases you won’t have to wait at all! Our stores carry an assortment of the more common cartridges already remanufactured, ready-to-go. Just trade in your empty and you’re on your way!

If you don't have an empty cartridge, no worries! Cartridgeworx stores prices include the cost of the empty and if you are able to bringin  trade-in we willcreit you at R50 foran inkjet and R0 for a laser. We also carry a broad assortment of OEM and new compatible cartridges (Generics).

We have seen evidence of a Canon BC-02 being refilled over 10 times. Typically we believe a black cartridge can be refilled / remanufactured about 4 or 6 times. This all depends on the type of cartridge and how well you take care of your cartridges. (See Cartridge Education for more information.) We test your cartridges before they enter the remanufacturing process and after they have been re-manufactured, hence our 100% satisfaction guarantee. 

We have the technology and skills to remanufacture nearly all brand of cartridge. If you have a cartridge we do not show on our price list, it is because it may not be a common one and we therefore suggest you bring your empty cartridge in to our Alberton Branch and let our technicians have a look. The chances are we can at best of times.
